Bahra Superspecialty Hospital was inaugurated on 19th November 2021 by Chief Minister of Punjab Sh. Charanjit Singh Channi. The hospital commenced Diagnostics & OPD Services in Dec 2021. The Inpatient Services were launched in January 2022. Bahra hospital is the biggest healthcare facility in the private sector in the Tricity. The hospital built on a 12 acre campus has 2,50,000 sq feet of constructed area. The hospital currently has 250 beds which are expandable to 1200 beds in the years to come. The hospital is promoted by Sh. Gurvinder Singh Bahra, renowned educationist who has setup Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes (RBGI).
